Information we collect
We may receive your name, phone number, email address, property or mailing address, photos, service details, scheduling information, and other information you choose to provide when you contact Branching Out Tree Service or request a quote.
When you visit the site, basic technical information such as browser type, device type, approximate location, IP address, referring page, and page activity may be collected by the site or analytics providers.
How we use information
- Respond to questions and quote requests.
- Evaluate, schedule, and perform tree service.
- Send appointment confirmations, invoices, service updates, and customer-care communications.
- Process payments or financing through the provider selected for the transaction.
- Improve site content, accessibility, security, and customer experience.
- Meet legal, insurance, accounting, and safety obligations.
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
Quote forms and Jobber
The website offers a new-customer quote form and a linked public Jobber form. Information you submit there is handled by Jobber and Branching Out Tree Service for the purpose of responding to your request and managing the potential service relationship. Jobber’s own privacy terms and policies also apply to information submitted through its form.
Website quote intake and optional receipt analytics
Our new-customer website form processes your name, phone and/or email, service address and description through our existing Sites hosting service into our Jobber account. It does not enroll you in marketing or confirm an appointment. We do not store the form details in the website database or send them to analytics. Existing clients can use the Jobber form linked alongside it.
An essential, secure browser cookie lasts two hours and identifies the current submission attempt. Our website database holds keyed references, submission status, consent and claim timestamps, a random receipt reference, and encrypted returned Jobber record IDs for owner recovery. Attempt and recovery records become eligible for daily deletion after four days, with an operational retention target of no more than seven days. Failed or stale maintenance suspends new website intake; expired records are removed when maintenance access is restored. Jobber retains your service records under the business’s applicable retention policy.
Each receipt document asks a fresh optional choice. If you allow receipt analytics, Google Analytics receives a random receipt reference and fixed fields confirming the website’s successful request creation. This reference is pseudonymous information. Your answer does not affect service delivery. You can decline or withdraw with the receipt controls; withdrawal cannot recall an event already delivered. Browser or network blocking can prevent delivery. Advertising and session-replay tools are disabled on this receipt.
The owner’s Jobber connection tokens are encrypted separately while connected and removed from active storage when website access is stopped. We avoid recording customer payloads and credentials in application logs. Deletion from our active application database does not establish deletion from hosting-provider backups, replicas or operational logs; their exact retention periods and OAuth-request redaction are not confirmed.
Service providers and third parties
We may use third-party providers for scheduling, customer management, payments, financing, email, call handling, website hosting, analytics, video embeds, and security. Those providers receive information only as needed to provide the requested service or operate the site, and their own terms and privacy policies may apply.
This site may link to or embed YouTube video content. A third-party video service may set cookies or receive technical information when you view an embedded video.
Cookies, analytics, and session insights
Essential technology supports site security and core functions. With your permission, the site may use Google Analytics to understand traffic, Microsoft Clarity to review aggregated interaction patterns such as clicks, scrolling, heatmaps, and session replays, and Google Ads and the Meta Pixel to measure advertising and quote-request activity. These providers may receive technical information and use cookies, local storage, pixels, or similar technologies according to their own privacy terms.
Non-essential analytics and advertising tools are disabled by default. You can accept, reject, or customize them in the site’s privacy banner and reopen the settings at any time using the “Privacy choices” control. Your selection is stored in your browser. You can also use browser controls to delete or block cookies, although doing so may reset your saved preference.
How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards for information in our control. No online transmission or storage system is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Your choices
You may ask to access or correct information we hold about you, ask how it is used, opt out of non-essential marketing communications, or change your site analytics and advertising choices. Some records must be retained for business, legal, tax, insurance, or safety reasons.
Children’s privacy
This site is directed to adults requesting property services and is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Policy updates
We may update this policy as the site, services, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when a revision is posted.
